Problem #1 - Low engagement with the search bar
Addressing High-Intent and Explorative Shopper Needs
High-intent shoppers
Irrelevant recent searches, no predictive suggestions, text-only display, no quick filters or CTA, no typo handling
Explorative shoppers
No visual or curated discovery, text-heavy suggestions, no style/occasion-based sections, decision fatigue, lack of playful guidance
Problem #2 - Poor visibility of gold products
Despite Premium Status, Gold Jewelry Lacks Visibility, Negatively Affecting Conversions
First Steps
How do we make it possible to show "most relevant search out for the user"?
Those who know exactly what they want and use search to find it.
Search should be directive than explorartory
Users are more likely to search for jewellery type or metal rather then jewellery name in catalogue.

🗂️ Project Planning
This project required careful coordination because the design had to be completed in just 1.5 months, and the scope kept changing. Since development was happening at the same time, I planned my timelines carefully to keep stakeholders informed.
📊 Data-Driven Decision-Making
Throughout this project, I became proficient in understanding business metrics, using them to inform and guide my design decisions.
